Meh, maybe...

It started with a 110 camera when I was 12 years old. Mom gave it to me because she noticed I looked at small thing's others didn't notice. She would drop off the film for me to the local drug store / corner quick lab, and most times, over half the shots were a waste, but she kept me going for the few remotely focused (there was no focus on that thing lol) images I would capture. Years later I switched to 35mm and took my time learning the settings while taking pictures of nature stuff, fire scenes (grew up in a volunteer fire dept family, served 5 years under my dad who was chief for 30+ years), and stuff like that. Over time I got into cave photography, and quickly made the switch to digital, then DSLR, which lead to a few decent images from several of TN, and a few of AL's caves, a few even got published in a NSS News, (spelunking magazine) and a few local authors, used a few images in their books about some TN caves. Many years later, a girlfriend suggested I try portraits, wedding, etc... And I did... Meh, it was fun at first, nice making a little cash, but ultimately, not my thing, which lead to her suggesting I try head shots and modeling, maybe even boudoir, and knowing my love for the nude arts shared on sites like deviantart, flickr, and other art hosting sites, she even hinted at trying art nude. So, I signed up on modelmayhem, and in 2009 shot my first modeling set, Jackie M, head shots and profile pics for show posters (local theatre actress), sometime between 2009, and 2013 I did my first nude portrait, and lighting practice set with that girlfriend (unpublished), which lead to my first lingerie model, and bam, it was off and running, which lead to the warehouse shoot with MM model Syl, sunlight sheer and shadows, still to this day one of my favorite art nude shoots. 2015 I decided to take a break, then in 2020 I started back up with Mia Exotik's first BSP shoot, cueva des nuda rouge parasol, trash the dress, and window at the tree, three sets, lingerie, art nude, and soft erotica. Still to this day one of my favorite shoots with Mia. And... after a short recent break, I am back at it (at least a little) and am going to be spending my time this go around, focusing on having fun, and capturing the beauty, and as for the business part of it all... Meh, maybe I will put the BSP shop back online and set up CCP sales again, maybe I leave it as is, I'm not super concerned about that part honestly, really feel like the business of it all, takes away from the fun of the art. Yes, I do want the models and I to earn for our effort, and it would be nice if we sold a dozen downloads a day, but honestly, I enjoy the art of it all, SOOOO much more than the "sell sell sell". With that being said... I am sad to report, that Dixie Taylor, decided to take a break shortly before I did almost a year ago. I have chatted with her, and she is happy, but did not rule out coming back to the lens... at least a few times, maybe. So, we will all have to wait and see. Mia Exotik, is super busy with a big project she has been working on, and like me, when she has time for our art, she cares more about the art of it, and last I checked, was happy with the let it ride philosophy I am rolling with now. When will she have time for another shoot? IDK, but again, we will all have to wait and see. Wicked? maybe, we chatted not long ago, had a shoot planned, but something came up, and no word yet on reschedule. New amateur Kaiyseah Raiy? ... She has a few things going on at the moment, but we have plans for more shoots soon, we even did some shibari practice yesterday, testing out some new rope patterns, and we talked about many ideas for many future shoots, so again again, we will all have to wait and see. I hope to do more shoots, with some of the other models in time, 9596, Ayeonna Gabrielle, Jessie Reines, maybe even pick up a new model or two, even if just for one shoot, from modelmayhem, or some new amateurs, but again again again ... wait and see. Either way, let's have some fun, creating, and capturing some beautiful illusions with some beautiful ladies, and Meh, maybe sell some downloads, or videos.
